Booking and Pricing
How are private jet charter prices determined?
Prices are determined based on jet type, flight distance, flight duration, number of passengers, and requested date. Fuel costs, airport fees, crew expenses, and taxes are also included in the price. One-way and round-trip flights may be priced differently.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally, we recommend getting quotes 48-72 hours before your flight. However, solutions can also be provided for last-minute flights. Earlier booking is recommended during busy periods and for popular destinations. Priority jet availability is guaranteed for corporate account holders.
Can you arrange a last-minute flight?
Departure can be organized within 2-4 hours for available jets. Our 24/7 reservation line serves for last-minute flights. Different jet options are offered based on availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, credit card, and corporate invoice options are available. Special payment terms and deferred payment options can be offered for corporate clients. Payment details are explained during booking.
Is getting a quote free?
Getting a quote is completely free and requires no obligation. You can receive comparative quotes from multiple operators and choose the most suitable option.
Are prices in USD or EUR?
MONTJET prices are displayed in EUR. Payments can be made in EUR or TRY. Different currency options can be offered for corporate accounts.
Flight Experience
When should I arrive at the airport?
For private jet flights, arriving at the terminal 15-30 minutes before departure is usually sufficient. VIP terminals have expedited check-in processes. For international flights, arriving 30-45 minutes early for passport control is recommended.
Is there a luggage limit?
Luggage limits on private jets vary by jet type and number of passengers. Generally much more flexible compared to commercial flights. Special luggage like golf bags and ski equipment can also be carried. If carrying excess luggage or special equipment, please mention it during the quote stage.
Can I bring my pet?
On most private jet flights, you can carry your pets in the cabin with you. There is no cage requirement, and your pet can be with you throughout the flight. Simply mention your pet transport request during the quote stage. Additional documentation may be required for some international flights.
Is food and drink available on the plane?
Standard catering service is provided on all flights. Special dietary requirements and preferred food and beverages can be specified in advance. Hot meal service can be provided on long flights. Premium catering options are available at an additional cost.
Is there Wi-Fi on the flight?
Many jet models have Wi-Fi connectivity. If you specify your Wi-Fi preference during the quote stage, jets with this feature will be prioritized. Wi-Fi speed and capacity vary by jet model.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking policy varies by operator and jet type. If you specify your smoking preference during the quote stage, suitable jets will be offered. Most jets are categorized as non-smoking.
Safety and Reliability
How do you select operators?
All operators go through a comprehensive evaluation process. EASA or FAA certifications, insurance coverage, operational history, maintenance records, and pilot experience are evaluated. We only work with operators that meet the highest standards.
What safety certifications are required?
All operators must have EASA or FAA certification, a valid AOC (Air Operator Certificate), and comprehensive insurance coverage. Pilots must have specific flight hour experience. Jets must undergo regular maintenance inspections.
What is the insurance coverage?
All flights are covered by passenger and cargo insurance. Operators must have minimum insurance limits. Insurance details are shared before booking. Additional insurance requests can be evaluated.
How experienced are the pilots?
Pilots of all operators we work with have specific minimum flight hour experience. Pilots undergo regular training and proficiency checks. Captains typically have thousands of hours of flight experience.
Cancellation and Changes
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy varies by operator. Generally, cancellations made up to 7 days before the flight receive full refunds, while shorter notice periods offer partial refunds or credit options. Exact conditions are clearly stated during booking.
Can I change the date or time?
Yes, changes can be made. Change conditions and possible additional fees are specified during booking. With early notice, changes are usually free or low-cost. Alternative options are offered based on jet availability.
What happens if canceled due to weather?
For flights canceled by the operator due to weather or technical reasons, full refunds or alternative flight options are offered. Safety is always the priority, and flights are not operated in unsuitable conditions.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Alternative solutions are offered for delays. Transfers and accommodation can be coordinated if necessary. MONTJET customer service will keep you informed and provide support throughout the process.
