The Bombardier Learjet 75 is the final evolution of the world's most iconic business jet line. Introduced in 2013 with FAA certification and produced until 2022, it represents six decades of continuous refinement since Bill Lear created the original Learjet 23 in 1963.
The Learjet 75 delivers exceptional performance in the light jet category. With a top speed of Mach 0.81, it matches or exceeds aircraft costing significantly more. The 15,545 m (51,000 ft) service ceiling allows operations above most weather and commercial traffic, providing smoother flights and more direct routing.
Two Honeywell TFE731-40BR engines produce a combined 34.2 kN (7,700 lbs) of thrust with standard thrust reversers for enhanced landing performance. The 1,265 m/min (4,150 ft/min) climb rate enables rapid departure from congested airspace and quick climbs to optimal cruise altitude.
At high-speed cruise of Mach 0.79, the Learjet 75 consumes approximately 753 liters (199 gallons) of fuel per hour. The 3,778 km (2,040 nm) range with NBAA IFR reserves enables nonstop flights across most regional routes.
The Learjet 75 features the only flat-floor cabin in the light jet category. At 6.04 m (19 ft 10 in) in length, 1.56 m (5 ft 1 in) in width, and 1.50 m (4 ft 11 in) in height, it accommodates up to 9 passengers in a double-club configuration.
The forward pocket door, unique among light jets, reduces cabin noise by 8 decibels. Combined with favorable wing loading, passengers experience an exceptionally smooth, quiet flight environment that sets the standard for the category.
The cabin altitude at maximum cruise is 2,438 m (8,000 ft), providing comfortable conditions throughout the flight.
The Learjet 75 is the only light jet certified to FAA Part 25 standards, the same regulations governing commercial airliners. This certification requires enhanced structural requirements, more rigorous testing, and greater safety margins than Part 23 certified competitors.
Standard safety features include dual-wheel main landing gear for improved braking performance, thrust reversers for shorter landing distances, and bird strike resistance certification. The aircraft includes TCAS II, EGPWS, and Synthetic Vision System as standard equipment.
The Garmin G5000 flight deck features three 35.6 cm (14 in) high-resolution displays with touch screen controllers. The system provides intuitive graphical flight planning, advanced weather radar with predictive windshear detection, and comprehensive datalink capabilities.
Standard equipment includes Synthetic Vision System (SVS) for enhanced situational awareness, dual Flight Management Systems with WAAS/LPV approach capability, and ADS-B Out compliance. The integrated avionics reduce pilot workload while improving safety margins.
The Learjet 75 offers Gogo Avance L5 air-to-ground connectivity, enabling high-speed internet access throughout flights within coverage areas. Passengers can stream content, conduct video conferences, and maintain productivity at altitude.
The Lufthansa Technik Nice HD cabin management system provides 17.8 cm (7 in) pop-up HD monitors at each seat, Blu-ray player with integrated media server, and high-fidelity speakers. Passengers control lighting, temperature, and entertainment through a dedicated application on personal devices.
Iridium satellite phone capability ensures voice communications worldwide, independent of ground-based networks.
The forward galley includes a microwave oven, drainable ice drawer, and dedicated storage for catering and supplies. A privacy curtain separates the galley from the cockpit for crew privacy during operations.
Total baggage capacity of 1.84 m3 (65 ft3) includes a heated external compartment and accessible in-cabin storage. The external compartment accommodates oversized items such as golf clubs and skis.

Bombardier produced 145 Learjet 75 aircraft from 2013 until ending all Learjet production in 2022. The final aircraft was delivered to Northern Jet Management in March 2022, concluding 60 years of Learjet manufacturing.
Bombardier continues comprehensive support for the existing fleet through nine authorized service centers worldwide, ensuring parts availability and technical support for decades to come.
